What is your favorite source of renewable energy and why?
“Solar panels! The opportunities with solar energy are endless, from large-scale utility projects to floating solar—which I find particularly fascinating. The potential for innovation in solar technology makes it an exciting field to be part of.”
What project is your favorite and why?
“Honestly, all of them! Learning about renewable energy projects has been such a rewarding experience. I’m constantly impressed by what our team creates and designs, and seeing their expertise in action makes every project stand out.”
What’s your favorite solution to a challenge you’ve faced?
“One of the best solutions I’ve seen is how our team navigates complex permitting and land use challenges by working closely with local agencies. The way KWRE finds innovative solutions to site constraints, whether through creative engineering or strategic problem-solving, is something I truly admire.”
Why are you passionate about renewable energy?
“I want to help make the world a better place for my children. Renewable energy is the future, and knowing that the work we do at KWRE contributes to a cleaner, more sustainable world makes this work incredibly fulfilling.”
Outside of KWRE, what are your favorite hobbies?
“Spending time with my 1.5-year-old son, reading, working out, being with family, and going to concerts with my mom.”
What are you currently reading?
“I’m currently rereading The Boys in the Boat for the second time, and I highly recommend it! It’s such an inspiring story of perseverance, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that resonate deeply with what we do at KWRE.”
What’s been your favorite moment at KWRE?
“The RE+ Conference in Anaheim with the KWRE team! Wearing our matching KWRE Mickey ears and experiencing the event together was such a fun and memorable moment.”
