What is your approach to helping clients meet their renewable energy goals?
“Understanding their current needs and helping them to understand what they might need in the future and plan accordingly.”
What is your favorite source of renewable energy and why?
“Solar power is my favorite source of renewable energy given its abundance and higher return on investment, especially on a utility-scale project.”
What project is your favorite and why?
“One of my favorite projects was the Veranda retail center in Concord, CA. It’s a 30-acre high end retail center where the client and design team held a very high threshold for design detail. There were a lot of “firsts” on this project but everything turned out great and the design worked exceptionally well together.”
What’s your favorite solution to a challenge you’ve faced?
“My favorite solution(s) to a design challenge are the ones where the client and design team are surprised and excited with the solution we’ve come up with.”
Why are you passionate about renewable energy?
“I consider myself an environmental steward. I want to make sure we as humans do our best to leave the planet in as good or better shape for future generations, and utilizing renewable energy sources will help us to achieve that goal.”
Outside of KWRE, what are your favorite hobbies?
“Golf, fitness, and traveling are my main hobbies at the moment. Every year my family and I endeavor to travel to a new place, whether it be domestic or abroad, to experience new cultures and activities.”

What’s been your favorite moment at KWRE?
“The learning process. Prior to KWRE, I had a very limited knowledge of renewable energy, solar in particular. Now, I have a much more robust understanding of the infrastructure requirements, which allows me to provide better guidance to our clients when it comes to site design and planning.”
