What is your approach to helping clients meet their renewable energy goals?
“I keep it simple: listen to what they need, find effective ways to make it happen, and always focus on long-term results. It’s about creating solutions that work, while making sure we’re always building a relationship of trust along the way.”
What is your favorite source of renewable energy and why?
“One of my favorite renewable sources is Solar Energy. I appreciate how there are so many solutions to its use. You can place it on small or large pieces of land, bodies of water, or just install panels directly on a building rooftop or carport. It requires a solutions driven mindset because these projects can be in both wide-open spaces and crowded cities and no two projects are alike.”
What project is your favorite and why?
“I’ve got a favorite, but it’s under NDA so I can’t get into the details. What I can say is that it was a game-changer to see how fast our survey group responded. They were orderly and effective. The work was orchestrated by our senior staff, dividing the tasks equally so that each executed deliverable came together as one project delivery. We were challenged beyond our usual project size and completed it on time as we promised. Seeing one of our newer project managers deliver one of the largest projects firsthand made it especially rewarding.”
What’s your favorite solution to a challenge you’ve faced?
“My favorite solution to a challenge has been establishing strong standard operating procedures (SOPs) for our surveying department. When faced with a project that was larger than our typical scope, our ability to execute efficiently came down to having a structured, well-defined approach as well as strong collaboration within the team ensured a cohesive work product.”
Why are you passionate about renewable energy?
“It’s the future. It’s not just about cutting emissions; it’s about creating a sustainable world for the next generations. Helping create enough energy that meets the current and future demands. Being part of something that makes a real impact is what drives me.”
Outside of KWRE, what are your favorite hobbies?
“I enjoy the coastal regions, whether its relaxing on a sailboat or surfing a well-known swell. These hobbies are an outlet for me to create an outcome with what nature provides.”
What’s been your favorite moment at KWRE?
“My favorite moment was wrapping up one of our toughest projects and seeing how everyone came together to make it happen. The teamwork and shared success were great to be part of.”
