What is your approach to helping clients meet their renewable energy goals?
“I make it a priority to fully understand the project’s objectives so we can tailor our approach to the client’s specific needs (i.e. timelines, products, support, etc.).”
What is your favorite source of renewable energy and why?
“Utility Scale Solar farms because they capture a great amount of sunlight energy while leaving the land below essentially untouched.”
What project is your favorite and why?
“There’s a confidential project in Arkansas that is going to be my favorite because it was one of the first large utility scale projects that I ran for KWRE. We just finalized the surveying portion a few weeks ago so this site can start construction.”
What’s your favorite solution to a challenge you’ve faced?
“Jumping into KWRE has pushed me into working with many different teams in all regions of the country; with that comes communication and project execution challenges. Finding ways to keep the project moving in all directions through multiple phases while teams work in parallel has been a great challenge to overcome.”
Why are you passionate about renewable energy?
“Renewable energy is the future and if you’re not looking forward and trying new things, you’ll get left in the past.”
Outside of KWRE, what are your favorite hobbies?
“I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, racing cars, and enjoying life to its fullest.”
What are you currently reading?
“Atomic Habits by James Clear.”
What’s been your favorite moment at KWRE?
“The mentoring happening right now though all levels of KWRE is outstanding. A lot of people are jumping into this world without much renewable experience, but the leaders are making sure to coach and teach all staff the right approach.”
