“Success starts with the right people. Having engineers, surveyors, and problem-solvers who are skilled, as well as passionate about sustainability, makes all the difference. My role is to build teams that combine technical expertise with innovative problem-solving, so our clients get the best possible support in reaching their clean energy goals.”
What is your favorite source of renewable energy and why?
“Floating solar is especially exciting because it takes an already powerful renewable resource, solar energy, and makes it even more efficient by utilizing underused spaces like reservoirs and lakes. Not only does it generate clean energy, but it also helps reduce water evaporation and improve panel efficiency by keeping them cooler. It’s a smart, innovative solution that maximizes land use and strengthens the future of renewable energy.”
What project is your favorite and why?
“Rather than pinpointing a single project, what excites me most is seeing talented individuals come together to make a project happen. Being able to bring in the right people and watch them collaborate, solve challenges, and drive renewable energy forward is incredibly rewarding. That’s what makes this work so meaningful.”
What’s your favorite solution to a challenge you’ve faced?
“One of the most satisfying challenges is connecting the right talent with the right opportunity. The renewable energy industry moves quickly, and we need people who are not only technically strong, but also adaptable and forward-thinking. Identifying those individuals and helping them find a place where they can thrive is something I enjoy solving every day.”
Why are you passionate about renewable energy?
“I’m passionate about renewable energy because it’s about building a better future—both environmentally and economically. It’s an industry that pushes innovation, challenges the status quo, and requires driven people to solve complex problems. I love being part of that by bringing together the right talent to make these projects happen. Seeing how renewable energy transforms communities and creates lasting impact is what keeps me motivated every day.”
Outside of KWRE, what are your favorite hobbies?
“I love spending time outdoors, especially backpacking and hiking with my fiancé and our 10-year-old German Shepherd, Sam. We’re always looking for new places to explore, and the Eastern Sierras is one of our favorites. This year’s big goal is to climb Mount Whitney—though Sam will have to sit that one out!”

“Atomic Habits by James Clear.”
What’s been your favorite moment at KWRE?
“My favorite moments at KWRE come from seeing the ongoing support and collaboration across the company. Whether it’s teams from different offices jumping in to help on a project, colleagues sharing knowledge to solve a challenge, or the way everyone comes together to celebrate wins, there’s a real sense of teamwork here. It’s that culture of support and shared success that makes KWRE such a great place to be a part of.”
